Back to overviewApril 11, 2023
Around 100 Purton children and their families, came along to the Purton Red House on Saturday 8th April, for the annual Purton Parish Council, Free Easter Egg Hunt.
Children taking part in the event included everyone from tots to teens, who worked to complete a dozen clues, to win their chocolatey prize!
Starting at noon, the event featured three targeted trails for children in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and covered subjects from across the National Curriculum.
When reviewed, the children’s completed entry forms showed that lots of time and care had been taken, with lots of lovely handwriting and beautiful drawings featuring on their answer sheets.
Special blue and gold chocolate bunnies, in Purton Parish Council’s logo colour's, were awarded as prizes to all who took part.
The weather on the day was sunny and mild, which gave plenty of time to finish the trail and to meet the Easter Bunny!
Purton Parish Council Clerk, Deborah Lawrence said:
“Our Purton families and children really enjoy the Purton Parish Council free Easter Egg Hunt. It was a lovely event with so many local people taking part, and we look forwards to sharing more time with our local community at our upcoming Coronation events.”
