Purton Parish Council maintains and enhances, were feasible, several outside spaces within Purton which includes The Dingle, The Paddock, Harvest Water and Harold Waldron’s Wall.

The play area and recreation committee, comprising of Parish Councillors, meets quarterly to discuss any current issues and future enhancement projects. Purton Parish Council is the sole trustee to the Purton Charitable Trust. The Trustees meet on a quarterly basis to discuss matters relating to the charity. The Charity and Council hold separate bank accounts and all processes and procedures although managed by Council staff are kept separate.
