Comment in writing in person or online before October 22nd
Purton Parish residents and other interested parties, will be able to have their say on the first draft of the Purton Neighbourhood Plan Revision, over the next six weeks, between 10.00am on Tuesday 10th of September, until the deadline for comments at 5.00pm on Tuesday 22nd of October, in a variety of ways, as part of Purton Parish Council’s ‘Pre-submission Regulation 14 Version Consultation.’
For the unfamiliar, a Neighbourhood Plan is a vision document for the Parish, which includes objectives and policies on housing, environment, transport, facilities etc.
Neighbourhood Plans are used by Local Authorities such as Wiltshire Council and Housing Developers to understand what the local community needs and wants.

Purton Parish Council will be holding their annual Christmas Lights Switch On at Purton Red House on Saturday 30th November 2024, from 4.00pm!
All are welcome to attend the festive celebration where the Christmas Lights will be switched on by Chairman of the Council, Councillor Sue Relfe at 4.30pm.
Following the switch on of the lights festive, live music will be played outside Purton Red House.
Celebratory drinks and food will be available from Purton Red House.
The event is free to attend, and no tickets are needed, so why not come along with friends, family, and neighbours to kick off the festive season this year!

Purton Parish Council Children’s Christmas Party, on Saturday 14th December, at Purton Village Hall!
Tickets will go on sale on Friday 1st of November, for the Purton Parish Council Children’s Christmas Party, on Saturday 14th December, at Purton Village Hall!
At the Christmas party, children will be able to enjoy all the fun of Razzmatazz Entertainment! As well as a visit and gift from Father Christmas, and a short snack time, where a drink and a biscuit will be provided.
Razzmatazz Entertainment starts at 10.00am and run for about two hours, with visits to Father Christmas afterwards.
Both children resident in Purton and those living beyond the Parish, will be able to attend.
Tickets are priced at £2.50 for children under 12, and £2.50 for adults. Prices will cover the extra costs of more children being able to come to the party.
