Defra’s Property Flood Resilience (PFR) Repair Grant Scheme – Storm Babet (Oct 2023) & Storm Henk(Jan 2024)

As it is a requirement of the PFR grant scheme to have a survey carried out by a suitably qualified surveyor.
Defra have been working with their consultants and approved surveyors to undertake surveys for their PFR Grant Scheme eligible applicants to help overcome home and business owners sourcing surveyors that costs exceed the grant allowance.

Defra are working through the details with their consultants, and anticipate surveys will be carried out in Town/Parish in cluster sites of 5 or more, reducing time and costs of the surveys whilst providing consistent survey information.

Cluster sites of 5+ will be required, so Defra are asking Town & Parish Councils to work with their neighbours to ensure applicants remain eligible.

Therefore, we would strongly encourage anyone who has not completed the attached PFR Application to do so, to be considered eligible for the grant and survey. Due to the number of applications being received, we are offering two closing dates, Weds 1^st May and Fri 3^rd June for final closing of applications.
