In a recent survey, local people told us that drop kerbs would help make Purton more accessible, on eight of our roads.

Funding for drop kerbs will be shared across the North Wiltshire Area, so unfortunately, we may not be able to add drop kerbs on all eight roads.

To make sure we can pay for some drop kerbs, Purton Parish Council will ask for money to add drop kerbs at Restrop Road and Reid’s Piece as a first step.

Wiltshire Council’s Local Highway and Footway Improvement Group (LHFIG) will then decide which drop kerbs can be added.
