Purton Institute & Village Hall Charity, Invest In Purton Village Hall
Back to overviewMarch 30, 2023
This month, Purton Village Hall has seen the installation off free Wi-Fi for its users, to enable them to go online, whilst using the hall for all their family, community, and business needs.
The move to install Wi-Fi at Purton Village Hall, is the second in a series of improvements including: interior and exterior renovation to the hall’s windows; and proposed interior decoration; and heating improvements.
This much needed investment reflects the age of Purton Village Hall, which was originally constructed over 50 years ago, in 1969, when it was celebrated with a week of events including an Opening Ceremony, Children’s Film Show, and a Grand Opening Dance and Buffett.
The new free Wi-Fi for hall users which is now in place, took just one working day to install, after cable was channeled across the road, car park and into the building. Works were completed by Gigaclear.
Purton Village Hall users will now be able to access the internet for free by using the password and details displayed on new signs within the hall.
