Purton Parish Council challenges local children to complete its Easter Egg Hunt 2023!
Back to overviewFebruary 2, 2023
With spring coming soon, primary aged children from Purton are being invited to complete a FREE Easter Egg Hunt at The Purton Red House on Saturday 8th April, at noon.
The outdoor hunt will challenge children and their parents to complete a trail of 12 quiz questions, to obtain their Chocolate Easter treat. It’s also rumoured that the Easter bunny may by hopping by!
Quiz questions on the trail have been set by age, with yellow trail for 3-5 years, green trail for 5-7s and blue trail for children aged 7–11-year-olds. It is hoped that this will make the hunt both accessible and challenging for each age group taking part.
Parish Clerk, Deborah Lawrence said:
“It was great fun with the children last year when we had around 80 children taking part. We hope to see more children this year to bring a little joy after what has been a challenging winter for many.”
No booking is needed if you wish to take part, simply arrive at noon at the Purton Red House to collect your sheet and get hunting!
If your child wishes to take part and has any allergies, please contact the Community Engagement Officer at Purton Parish Council by email on: susan.hughes@purtonparishcouncil.gov.uk or call 01793 771824.
