Our wonderful Sandra Horsnall has COMPLETED her 300,000 steps!!

(I had a secret bet on with myself that she would do it by the end of Christian Aid Week!)

And she did her walking on top of all her other commitments including being Church Warden  etc etc.
(10,000 steps is approx. 5 miles, so this means Sandra has done an average of 10 miles a day, for the first half of May!)

I was pleased to be able to join her on her walk, we walked and talked and collected up more money and envelopes!...

My new nickname for her is Mrs Sprightly!! I could hardly keep up with her pace!

So she has now decided to give herself a new target of 450,000 steps in May!...tho I’m not sure that all her sponsors will increase their sponsorship…but you never know!!

Please note in the photo that she is climbing over the stile whereas she could just as easily have gone round it!

Apparently over 1600 supporters across the country agreed to try the 300,000 steps in May. I wonder if any of the others have already completed the challenge!

As well as welly walking, ploughing through puddles, hiding from hail, crouching under clouds, rescuing rolling sheep and yomping along cheerfully Sandra has also raised several hundreds of pounds.
