WORKING WITH OUR COMMUNITY - ST MARY'S C of E PRIMARY SCHOOL
"don't be a hog pick up after your dog"
Councillor Charlotte Young has been working with the local primary schools to create a poster for placement on the Wiltshire Councils Dog/Waste Bins (30 in total).
The children recognise the importance of picking up litter and dog waste and wanted to help our community by reinforcing what we should already being doing.
As one of the young children stated "I know how important it is to pick up dog/litter waste, why doesn't everyone?"
Thank you Zara Year One, Sebe, Wyatt, Amy and James Year 5 and Charlie Year 6 for your excellent handy-work in producing a combined poster which says it all.
Each child received a £10 book token and the school a £50 book token towards their "50best books" which can be spent at our local book store.
Well done to all the children from St Mary's who participated in this campaign.
